This is a heavy duty adjustable bed that is easy to set up and easy to use. The platform holds any foam matress securely and adjusts quickly and quietly. A good value.

United Continental Launches Daily Houston-Lagos Nonstop Service

Continental’s flight CO142 is timed to depart Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) at 7:05 p.m. and arrive at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Lagos at 1:40 p.m. the following day, local time.

In the other direction, flight CO143 is scheduled to leave LOS at 11:05 p.m. and land at IAH at 5:25 a.m. the following day, local time.

Flying times are approximately 11 hours, 35 minutes for the nonstop eastbound sector and 13 hours, 20 minutes for the nonstop westbound leg. The westbound flight takes nearly two hours longer because the Earth rotates in a clockwise direction and so the high-altitude jetstream winds blow in the other direction, from the west to the east.

Although United Continental plans eventually to operate the service with Boeing 787s when it receives them, Continental is initially operating the Houston-Lagos flights using Boeing 777-200ER widebodies.

Each 777-200ER is fitted with a total of 276 passenger seats – 50 in BusinessFirst and 226 in Economy class. Continental’s 777-200ERs feature new flat-bed seats in their BusinessFirst cabins.

Who is going shopping this weekend? Well, if you are, or if you are at least starting your Christmas list, I have a fun item I think you might want to check out.

We live on a cul-de-sac street where kids are often seen outside on their bicycles and scooters. My boys are just learning to ride their big boy bikes and love to try and be like the big kids. For the last couple of months, my youngest has been able to ride like the big kids with his own Radio Flyer RFX Scooter with Custom Clipz . My older son also loves to try it out.

I love the size as it is very easy to store. Kierbear loved that he could hop right on and ride around the house with help. Within a couple of weeks, he was able to put his foot down on his own and is slowly getting better and better at it. My 4 1/2 year old, Finleypotamus, loves trying as well. It helps him balance and he has fun just pushing it around since he hasn’t quite mastered the foot motion (he has some ataxia, hypotonia and balance issues). I love that the Radio Flyer RFX is great for typically developing children as well as some with special needs. Oh, and if you have a girl, there is a really cute pink version called the Radio Flyer Style ‘N Ride .
