I love the idea that there’s a personal baby shopping service.   I wish I had known about it when I was pregnant the first time as it would have saved me and my wallet from some of the disasters that we bought before we had a baby.   As much as I love John Lewis we didn’t get the right buggy and it’s such an expensive mistake to make.   We bought the most comfortable (read enormous) pram on the market.  I had gone shopping with my mum and she lives in the countryside where space isn’t an issue and what did I know about buggies?   I do know that the fact that I live in a townhouse and we had a small car should have come into the equation somewhere.

If we’d been to a shop like Baby Concierge I’m sure we would have saved money in the end and would have been advised to get a buggy that suits city life!   So in this spirit of knowledge sharing I’m letting you know about the best baby products that have just come on the market.   If you are pregnant, do give them a call.  Their prices are competitive and although they charge for the consultation (£120), you get the money back if you spend over £500 (which is about the price of a buggy!)
