Is a 12v 12Ah battery powerfull enough to power a mobility scooter ...

Ive bought a Sungift 300 mobility scooter that has 2 batteries each side. But they are flat and need to be replaced. I am thinking of selling the scooter in the future so i dont want to buy really expensive batteries because my profit will be less so ive seen these on ebay – http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-X-Lucas-12v-12ah-Batteries-mobility-and-leisure-/330589379359?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Mobility_Disability_Medical_ET&hash=item4cf8a99b1f#ht_978wt_1139 Would 2 – 12v 12Ah battery be powerful enough to power the mobility scooter and for a long time. And i thought i could connect 3 of the batteries to the scooter so there would be more power. Would the batteries be worth buying? If not could you tell me what would be good cheap batteries that you could recommend me buying? Cheers
