Well built
The unit is well built and works fine with an electric wheelchair. It is heavier than I had thought. If definitely take two to slip into the hitch receiver. The only complaint is that the cable holding the ramp pins could use some heat shrink around the cut ends. It pokes you every time you try...

My husband has nuropthy and can not get around very well so he just stays at home most of th time or he sits in the car when I go shopping. We do not have the money to buy one of these scooters so that he can get out once in a while.

Rhyl boy hurt in mobility scooter hit-and-run has plaster removed
The youngster was left unable to go to school and has had to get about in a little wheelchair and on crutches.
Now that his cast has been removed, his leg is still weak and he has been walking with a limp, but Edith said her son is in high spirits now that he has his freedom back.
“The first thing he said when the doctors cut his plaster off is ‘I can’t wait to have a nice bubble bath Mummy’.
“When we got home, we made him one up and he didn’t want to get out.
“He has to go back for a check up in the New Year to make sure his bones are healing all right, but other than that, Charlie’s looking forward to going back to school next week and playing with all his friends.”
Police last night said they are still looking into Charlie’s accident after they launched an appeal to try and trace the driver of the mobility scooter.
Speaking to the Daily Post at the time, mum-of-two Edith, 30 said: “I was walking down the road with Charlie and a friend of mine.
