This ramp will not work for very low thresholds!
I ordered this ramp to make a doorway at church handicap accessible. Unfortunately, the threshold where I need the ramp is only about 1 3/4" high. The description didn't mention the fact that the ramp is made for thresholds 3" and higher. If your threshold is lower, the braces under the ramp... -
Folding Wheelchair Ramp
Very well built and sturdy, though somewhat industrial in fit and finish. If you need a folding wheelchair ramp, this one will definitely do the job. We run a 300# power chair over it many times a day without so much as a creak.

Brewers bar regular Aratangata Te Kotua called in for an afternoon game of pool, and came away with a shiny red mobility scooter.
The Victory bar's new owners, Fred and Julie Bennett, noticed he was a bit slow moving around so thought a mobility scooter would help.
Patrons backed the idea with a fundraising venture involving balancing a coin floating on top of a lemon in a water-filled jar. If the coin stayed on the lemon they got a 12oz beer but if it fell in the water it went towards the scooter.
After eight weeks they'd raised $165, enough to kickstart their scooter plan. So when Mr Te Kotua came in at 2pm on Friday, Mr Bennett told him they were going for a drive, and they picked up the scooter, which is being rented at $40 a month from the Red Cross.
Mr Te Kotua said he was so surprised. "It's very good," he said.
His niece, Juanita Walker, said he lived on his own and liked to come to Brewers to play pool.
