Go Go Scooter
I have had a pride Go Go Scooter for four years. I bought it at Walmart for $1000. It just broke down. The one on Amazon is cheaper and looks like the same model. It has greatly extended my mobility. I put it in the trunk of my Corolla and remove it when I want to go shopping. It was very...

On Brighton and Hove streets in a mobility scooter
A councillor took to the streets in a mobility scooter to discover the problems faced by disabled people trying to negotiate their way around Brighton and Hove.
Ken Norman, who chairs the city’s adult social care scrutiny committee, rode the scooter from Churchill Square to a bus depot in Conway Street, Hove, and back again.
The aim was to find out about the potential difficulties disabled people face both on the roads and pavements as well as trying to get on and off a bus.
Coun Norman said: “It was certainly a bit of an eye-opener.”
He said among the biggest issues were tables and chairs on the pavements.
Coun Norman said: “They make the pavements a lot more narrow and difficult to negotiate.
“It was difficult to get on and off the buses in the scooter as well.”
Coun Norman said he would take his findings to the council.
Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company managing director Roger French said it was not practical to allow the Class 2 disability scooters on to buses although smaller wheelchairs worked well.
