Parks & Recreation 4x4 - Pawnee Rangers
Last week's episode of Parks and Recreation, “Pawnee Rangers,” airing during my personal hiatus, was one of the best of the series, and a strong pick up for the season. Forgive the recap delay, but I hope it fills the gap of an episode-less Thursday night for you.
Ron starts out the episode speaking to his group of Pawnee Rangers - a Boy Scouts-esque organization gathered for Wilderness Weekend. "There will be no games," Ron announces, "There will be no internet pads." Ron has been running the Rangers for five years now, with the one rule of "Be a man." Assisting Ron is Andy aka Brother Nature, obviously excited to be a part of the festivities and looking like a big Ranger himself.
Naturally, Leslie has taken the attitude of "No, this is males only, go start your own club" with gusto -- she started up her own club, the Pawnee Goddesses, "and we're freakin' awesome." The Goddesses earn patches like "Best Penguin Blog" and "Flyest Hair." With her for the weekend are Ann and April, steadily participating despite herself.
